THE JOHN ORR FRANKLIN PROJECT REACHES NEW GROUND WITH A MUSICAL JOURNEY IN FOUR PARTS.

Melodic Revolution Records recording artist, John Orr Franklin returns with a highly anticipated new science fiction-based, progressive rock concept album, “Reaching Ground” under the name of The John Orr Franklin Project.

“Reaching Ground” will be released in four parts starting with the unveiling of the 1^st part on October 9^th and over the course of the coming weeks, culminating in the availability of the full digital album release on November 6^th 2012. “Reaching Ground” will be accompanied by an e-book filled with artwork, lyrics and the albums credits.

The album tells the tale of one man's journey through a world on the brink of universal evolutionary change. After first contact with beings from another dimension, the planet descends into a world of distrust and discord. In this landscape of division between those that believe, and have made contact with this new race, to those that cannot or refuse to believe, one man comes forth to fulfill his destiny.

His hope to bring harmony back into a world struggling to rebuild a bridge into a truth that was abandoned many millennia ago, is encapsulated in “Reaching Ground” and is the beginning of his story.

Special guest musicians include drummers Gavin Harrison from multi-platinum British prog giants Porcupine Tree, and Victor Tassone of Unified Past.
