This Week's CD Sales Worst Since 1991

May 19, 2010 3:26 p.m. by Andrew Martin

It's frustrating to know that when an album like the National's High Violet does well on the Billboard charts, it happens at a time when record sales plummeting to figures from 1991. That was the year Nielsen Soundscan began tracking album sales. And, apparently, those numbers hadn't been that low in nearly 20 years. That was, of course, until this past week, when just about 5.3 million records were… Continue

And looking at the track lengths, this duo from Texas takes the time to get into a depression. Opening with the longest song From Sunrise to Sunset, the stage is…

Minha...sua...nossa canção_Sidnei Piedade

If you're lonely and sad, beside you suffer too, because something in me cries out stronger than my own presence in your being. Turning yourself into a second route ... the paths leading to destinations not already disclosed. Is always by my side ... out ... although his image lives in me like the shell takes up residence in a sea of nostalgia. The song comes from his music ... and flooding the silence night about the things your ball rolls out of… Continue

Reinfused

"Reinfused" is basically a rehash of the material presented in "Lifeforce," but with an emphasis on shifting time, forward movement, and dynamism, to suggest the removal of obstacles from the path of a process which is then finally allowed to follow its course toward completion.
