Profile Information

Bio
I was born and raised on the East Coast of Florida, USA with the love of singing in my heart. I would sing to everyone anywhere and didn’t care if someone didn’t really like it. LOL. I just had to sing. I married and put music on the back burner, except for church, to be a wife, homemaker and mother of six children. When I was older I had a long talk with God and asked Him if I could re-create the music I had in me when I was young. God laughed at me and told me to “Go For It, What was I waiting for?” And I did…
PERSONAL AND INTIMATE
“It is from the depth of my soul do I write, personal and intimate about the heart”. This is about the sacred emotions and needs held deep inside. Be it in Poem or Song I will express it from the heart level.” Born and raised in South East Florida and the oldest of seven children, I grew up singing. Late in the night my Mother would gather us up in her lap while sitting in her rocking chair and sing with us, “Jesus Loves Me” and “This Little Light Of Mine, all the old World War Two love songs and all the good country songs of the day. Thus was born the joy of singing as God had gifted and Mom had reinforced…
As I grew older I would sing to everyone I could, playing the little Ukulele as Mom taught me. I didn’t care that some didn’t like it; I had a need to sing, and did. I sang in the church choir and in the High School chorus. I also sang to strangers on the street and while working as a waitress I would entertain customers. I sang everywhere, everyday…
I married and put singing on the back burner to raise six children and be a good wife, mother and homemaker, yet singing to my children as my Mother had done with us. I always wanted to write but didn’t know how. I got stuck, and then I did an intense six month Leadership Program with “The Alivening Project” to hone my creative skills. This is when the writing and singing began to flow. You are never to old to live your dream. Through life’s joys and agonies, I lost a son to violence. This inspired me to write and record a series of songs in memory of my son Bobby, to facilitate the grieving process for myself as well as help others heal their grieving hearts…to laugh, love, trust and live again.
Anyone even THINKING Violence, LISTEN WITH YOUR HEART…
Singing and Writing lights my eyes and my heart. It is a gift to share with others. If I don’t then sham on me… I hope you enjoy…

Welcome to my Surf City Ashram/Asylum  & thank you for letting me be your friend here on MRR !!!!!

I love everything ~ I will never deny you !

The challenges that we now face together are best achieved through the personal inspiration that will communicate the fresh ideas, that will ultimately guide our journey to a destination beyond any individuals wildest dreams.

In a world where reality has become obscured in the mimicry of following the safer trends set down by ones predecessors ~ the true path of artistic integrity lies in the blazing of ones own path with an originality that will define the new perspectives soon to be recognized as the very perceptions realized by the very ones who will follow.

I admonish each of my brethren to listen to the inner voice within and seek out that unique vision that only lies inside each of you as an individual ~ as this is the creativity that will bring the greatest rewards to the commonwealth of our collective.

Peace love & respect .
