Bio
Lynn Jacobs is a singer songwriter who has appeared, disappeared and re-appeared on the music scene for many years. While hibernating in Montana, she flew back and forth to Nashville signing single song contracts with both large and small publishing companies (such as Polygram).

While in Montana, Lynn's chiropractor, Steven Forte, introduced her to a wonderful lyricist, Sue Kraemer Jarvis, who co-wrote with her for years.

Lynn performed their co-written tune (Rocky Mountain Town) in front of a throng of people at the Bozeman, Montana County State Fair. Lynn (and Sue) received notariety in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.

Lynn won the county-wide talent contest and went on to perform at the Montana State-Wide Fair - someone (younger than she... lol ... won).

After appearing at the Durango Colorado songwriters conference, meeting industry folks from Sony Tree, Almo Irving, Rhino Records, etc. Diane Bowker, founder of the Durango Colorado, asked Lynn to write with her and rented a hotel room so they could write a tune before Lynn flew back to Montana - called "Stay Away From Me Baby". They began collaborating via phone and by visits.

Lynn (and Diane) won an award from Airplay International in 1994-95 - The Trailblazer Award for my Meaningful Contribution To The Music Industry. Mike Wyland, a music industry agent, saw Lynn perform live (Lynn played for him sitting on the tailgate of a pickup truck.) Mike offered to move her to Nashville.

While in Nashville, she developed a following and was quite well-known.

She has performed many famous places such as the Bottom Line in NY, the Bluebird and the Exit Inn in Nashville, as well as clubs all over the Washington DC/Baltimore/Alexandria, VA area.

With a degree in Music Theory and Composition, and a minor in classical guitar, she has written all types of music. Her songs will make you think. They span a wide range of emotions.

Recorded at Penny Lane Studios (Phil Kenzie's place), Do You Wanna Go Somewhere is only one compilation of songs. Phil, with an incredible dossier, allowed her to co-produce. She and the boys had a grand time. Phil can pull the best out of anybody and plays an incredible sexy sax.

Here is what a few industry folks have said:
“her music reminds me of everything from Sarah McLachlin, Carly Simon, Alanis Morrisette, to Cheryl Crow, but she has an individual style. She also has what I feel are hit singles”
Phil Kenzie - Real Good Records

“Live, a traffic jam” (everybody stops to listen/look)...her guitar playing “reminds me of Shawn Colvin”...BMI, Mark Mason

Actually, when Mike asked me where I wanted to go. I told him, well I've got a heck of a choice - the Burmuda Triangle (LA, NY, or Nashville). I opted for Nashville, and although they thought I was a d*mn Yankee, I met some of the greatest people in the world and wrote and co-wrote some of the finest music in my life.

Peace out, Nick.

Tied bouquet of beautiful images of the sky, the sun shine warm,
a small child's laughter, a tiny bird gay song
the silence of peace, understanding, love, peace,
it should be in your life, the true value
assisting in two hands, falling right könnyként beads,
another day, a new hope, they lived
cool murmur of rivers and the sea quiet delicious.
Gong bell from a distance, can hegedűszót,
laughing, running brook, small stream,
Eternal Snow, a fall in love,
Love your heart opening flower,
smiling faces and hearty friendship,

Wives kedvükből opening flower color,
elfelejtsétek to the evil world,
virágfelhőt smelling, rocking Wheat,
coquettish wandering fresh spring breeze,
deer, larks, rustling green forests,
painted sky blue, ragged clouds,
a nice clean future, become dreams come true,
sincere and everlasting friendships ...."

Hi Lynn,
Thank you for bringing me a smile :) on Mother's day. My husband and kids took me out for breakfast this morning. This is always nice. I feel sort of spoiled today :) Am I entitled? ha, ha.
As my song goes "It's A Good Day!" Have a wonderful day Lynn... Terri G
