Bio

Co-Existence is a Rochester based band, relatively new to the music scene. A mixing pot of many genres, Co-existence's music ranges from jazz to funk, jam band to progressive. Ryan and Colin met through the prestigious music program at FLCC. After playing together several times and realizing how well their styles complimented each other, they soon went on the hunt for a drummer to fill out the lineup for what was sure to be a powerhouse among Rochester's music scene. After going through several drummers that didn't quite fit the mold, they found Dan, a freshman music major at Fredonia, whom colin was long time friends with and had played with on several occasions before. Cody Niver, the groups newest addition on alto and soprano saxaphone, has brought a completely new element to the bands sound, contributing aspects of jazz and soul into the groups funky and progressive feel. Co-Existence's goal is to revive the spirit of original, deep groove oriented music into the hearts and minds of people everywhere.
