- Bio
- Caprycon is a 5 piece band formed in July 2010, it's members from various suburbs around the outskirts of Perth. Their sound can be described as 70's inspired progressive rock with a modern twist. Influences include Dream Theater, Rush, Yes and Gentle Giant. Caprycon first released their debut EP in March 2011 called Dark Earth, in which the majority of the songs were written before the band was actually formed. Now having moved away from the initial symphonic style of progressive rock, Caprycon has defined their sound and is currently recording their first Album.
