Laurie Larson

Laurie was born in Kalispell, Montana and now resides in the shimmering desert plains of Arizona. When not working as an on air radio personality paying homage to the musicians that has inspired her over the years you will find her shooting some of the most amazing photos, Laurie’s art and photography can be found at several top notch galleries in the Phoenix area or composing some beautiful music.

Laurie began her musical journey in 2001 with a self released debut CD "Artist’s Mirage which has been showcased on radio stations in all corners of the earth. Her song Feather Dancer was a top video in Albuquerque, NM.  In 2006 she released her highly anticipated and acclaimed follow up Aquila on Raptor Music | Melodic Revolution Records

Laurie has performed and opened for many notable Rock Icons like members of Jefferson Airplane, Mick Fleetwood's Zoo and members of Country Joe and the Fish. Laurie’s third CD release A Striking Resemblances was released in 2008 and unlike most albums with only one or two good tracks, each song on this CD can stand on its own. It sounds like a greatest hits CD, all songs were written by Laurie in just a few short months, with the exception of "Artist's Mirage Two" - a rearrangement of the title track to her first album she wrote in (2001), and one of the counter melodies in "True to Nature" she wrote in (1984). The title track was featured in Relix Magazine's CD sampler in November! 2008 "1 Realm" is featured in Global Rhythm's Sampler & the Acoustic Rainbow sampler. "A Call to Action" can also be found on Global Rhythm Magazine's CD Sampler.

2010 Laurie ‘s new song “All Year Long” is featured on The Christmas Gift a charity release to help raise money for homeless. The money raised was donated to Music for Relief who is partnered with such organizations as Habitat for Humanity and Save the Children.
