Customizing your page.

If you are a band and you set up your profile under your own name you can change this at any time by clicking on the word photo and then just change it on your profile info.

However we recommend setting up an additional profile so that you have a band ULR (Example; powerofprog.com/profile/BandName) You will need another email address and password

Photo/Avatar
If your photo looks distorted its because the image is usually to small image should be 200 px by 200 px for best resolution.

Profile Appearance
Like other popular sites you can simply change the appearance of your profile by going to Theme (click on my page under your photo) on your page there are dozens of layouts to choose from once you have done this you can go even further by changing the colors play around with it have some fun. You can always start from scratch by resetting it to MRR preset profile.

Advanced Settings -CSS
You can also click on advanced settings to customize the appearance of your page by adding your own CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) like the one you may have on your own website.

Current Profile Look
If you would like to reset the original site look click on apply Melodic Revolution Records theme.

ADDING MUSIC TO YOUR PROFILE
Bands can add up to 100 songs and each may be up to 20MB in size this is perfect for progressive music. You also can change the color of your player unlike many other sites and the player is embedded and can be used on most any website and blog page. Fans can also add music, check out the site and and add songs to your player that you like. HOW TO ADD MUSIC - MORE INFO HERE

 

Rearrange Your Page
You can rearrange your page by hovering your mouse near the top left of any item till a 4 way arrow appears then simple drag it to were you wish to place it in the left or middle column.

Band Banners
You can add a your own banner to the top of your page. Banner size is 955X205 that said you can make it taller but no wider. Once you have created a banner go to the word “my page” under your photo and click on it - then click on appearance then click all options where it says header image replace the one that is there with your own image then hit done then click on top and footer and type in transparent then ok do the same with network name make sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit save.

Welcome To
At the top center of your page it will say (example) Joe's Page you can change that to say what ever you wish by double clicking on it then change what it says and then hit save.

Promoting Your Profile
Last but not least please add a link from your website, myspace, facebook, twitter, reverbnation or any other site to this site. Once you have done this send out bulletins and blogs to let your friends know you are here.
