Time once again for an Industry 'Call To Arms'. The nationally syndicated FM / Internet broadcast 'Rock Solid Pressure' featuring the high profile DJ team of J-Rock and Patty The Radio Girl, are currently gearing up for the Ten Year Anniversary of the 'Rock Solid Pressure Industry Showcase'. The event will be held Saturday September 29th and Sunday September 30th.. For those of you that attend religiously every year, expect another knockout weekend on the Tampa Bay gulf. This is the rallying cry for all labels, media, and industry insiders to gear up for the annual trek to the Sunshine State.

J-Rock and Patty plan to blow away the music industry once again, and you're all invited. You'll experience 40 of the best unsigned bands in the nation, as they perform for an all day concert event for the music industry. You're not going to see lackluster reality TV contestants. You're going to be blown away by innovative new bands who have been honing their craft on national stages throughout Florida and the rest of the country. A lot of these bands have already been on national tours as well. This will be the 10 Year Anniversary for the Showcase, and once again, it will be held at the biggest and best national concert venue on the gulf 'The State Theatre' in St. Petersburg. The Showcase is always praised by the media as being a totally unique experience. Many have stated it's the best Industry Showcase in North America. It's all about music and serious networking for the entire weekend, and it's always a monumental event. There is a stellar lineup of panelists this year as well. They will critique, advise, and possibly sign these amazing bands, who in their own right, are on the cusp of becoming the next household name. This event has become one of the most talked about Showcases in the country, and the annual anticipation is reaching a fever pitch right now. The Rock Solid Pressure radio broadcast has always had an uncanny knack for discovering the best unsigned bands in the nation and moving their career forward. The show's track record for getting bands signed to record labels, huge management deals, national tours with major label acts, etc, is spotless. The Rock Solid Pressure Show has been a staple in the unsigned music forum for 10 years!

Nearly 40 of the best unsigned Indie/Rock/Metal bands will be offered up for the industry in another slam bang weekend. The Showcase also gives the general public a peek inside the recording industry. This is how it's 'really' done for unsigned bands to attract label attention. Forget all that 'Music Reality TV' brainwashing. The public will also hear from the panelists after every performance, but it's best to be in attendance when the Showcase begins at 1:00pm each day . The Opening Ceremonies is where you will meet the panelists and hear about what they do in the industry.

The Rock Solid Pressure Show exploded onto the scene in a small Connecticut radio station (Cameo Broadcasting) in 2002. It originated as a revolt to the fluffy 'reality music' TV shows, namely 'American Idol'. The broadcast quickly became an underground hit. Live Showcases for Sony Records quickly followed. The multi sponsored show moved to Florida in 2004 and now commands an immense following through FM and internet syndication. The Showcase has also grown in scope over the years. It is no longer an exclusive event for members of the Sony Records A&R team. Many new labels and industry insiders have jumped on the panels throughout the years. And word of mouth has forged a dynasty for the unsigned music community with this annual event. Some of the biggest names in the music industry have frequented the Showcase panels throughout the years

The 'Rock Solid Pressure' radio show is also known for featuring the best A-List Superstar guests. J-Rock and Patty are continually re-inventing the airwaves. They also feature a playlist chock full of the best signed, and unsigned bands from the past 4 decades to the present. The Rock Solid Pressure Show, which broadcast's from a dungeon no less, is also sprinkled with witty, dark mayhem, along with the top industry, and concert news of the week. J-Rock and Patty can also be seen hosting national concert events and festivals on the Tampa Bay gulf. Their name is also a staple on the music scene worldwide. They are also instrumental in organizing national concert events at The State Theatre and their Sister venue 'The Local 662', which is located directly across the street. They didn't get the moniker as being 'The Hardest Working DJ's In Radio' for nothing. The Rock Solid Pressure Show is now anticipating another leap to network TV. They completed a new pilot episode and just received the green light to push ahead with more episodes. The 2nd installment of the series is also underway. J-Rock and Patty The Radio Girl have been in the music scene individually for over 25 years. J-Rock is a well known touring musician who hails from New Jersey. He's shared stages with some of the biggest bands in the world. His 8 albums have charted internationally with bands such as 'ROCKCHAMBER' 'THE LOVE ZOMBIES' 'ORGANIC BRAIN SYNDROME' and more. He also became a favorite of the press, and the CMJ charts, with his two solo outings. He is also a former rock journalist, and presently, an A&R consultant for many record labels and huge management agencies. J-Rock is also the personal Events Coordinator / Production Mgr for the owner of The State Theatre. Patty The Radio Girl was a corporate FM radio host in Connecticut, and a TV personality in Greece. When the pair teamed up as the broadcast duo for Rock Solid Pressure in 2002, an enigma was born. They literally revolutionized radio with their fun, interactive show. The broadcast is continually being shopped to FM markets and high end internet radio stations around the country. Whatever the appeal, the popularity grows stronger every week, and the superstar guests keep coming in droves. It's also a very special time for the show, as they celebrate 10 years on the air. *QUINTON SHEER: Quinton has represented A&R Guru KEN KRONGARD in 'Major Label Scouts' for many years: Quinton is also a leading Entertainment Lawyer (Q Entertainment Law), and music industry insider. He also writes an industry related column in The Orlando Sentinel. He has launched many careers in the business, as well as launching careers for bands at the Industry Showcase. Quinton has been with the Showcase since 2006

*MATT LaPLANT: Famed Producer from the mighty 'Bieler Brothers Records' (Karnivool, Skindred, Soil, Nonpoint, Slaves On Dope, Smile Empty Soul, etc.). Matt also has done projects for Atlantic, Roadrunner and more. He has become a huge force on the Showcase panel for the past 4 years. Bieler Brothers has signed one act directly from the Showcase (Look Right Penny), and Matt is currently working with many Showcase bands at the Bieler Brothers studio. Rock Solid Pressure is huge supporters of Bieler Bros Records.

*CHRIS KURTZ: THE MEDIATWIST GROUP: Chris is a worldwide Talent Scout, Producer, Agent, and industry whiz kid. Founder of the MediaTwist Group. A full service touring and artist development label whose past and present projects include 'The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Tantric, The RockBand Network, Judas Priest, The Eagles, Christina Aguilera, Jon Wilkes, Framing Hanley, REO Speedwagon', Coolio, MTV's Bam Margera, Secondhand Serenade, and more! Chris also works with a host of TV celebrities. He's also a producer for Feld Entertainment, who are behind.. Barnum & Bailey, Monster Jam, Nuclear Cowboys, Disney On Ice, AMA Monster Energy Supercross, and more. He personally has a hand in placing artists in stadiums and arenas worldwide. Chris has already signed one act from the Showcase last year (The Getbye), and is also working with at least 5 bands from last years Showcase. They are all presently touring the country on national events. This will be the 2nd year on the panel for Chris

*SCOTT HAMILTON (CEO) & DAVID ADAMSKI from Small Stone Records: This is a legendary record label out of Detroit. They have tons of bands that you know on their roster. Since 1995, Small Stone Records has built up an incredible reputation in the Punk/Psychedelic/Grunge/Stoner Rock market. They are known as "The Sub-Pop Of Detroit". They even featured KID ROCK on their label in the early years. This will be Small Stone Records first year on the panel. Rock Solid Pressure is huge supporters of all the Small Stone releases

*NICK & JEN KATONA: CEO's of Melodic Revolution Records: This is an amazing startup label. They have signed DDRIVE which features LOU GRAMM, BILLY SHEEHAN, PHIL NARO and more. (Melodic Revolution has signed 3 acts that were featured in the Rock Solid Pressure Radio Competitions) This will be Melodic Revolution's 2nd year with the Showcase. Their roster includes a multitude of bands you will recognize from the Prog Rock / Prog Metal / Classic Rock genre's. Rock Solid Pressure is huge supporters of all the Melodic Revolution releases

*REJEAN GERMAIN: CEO of High Sonic Records: Here's another great startup label. Helmed by a Los Angeles music industry veteran. Rejean's background consists of A&R for Sunset Records. Head of music publishing for W3G Ent. He's also a VH1 'Save The Music' alumni, and a published Music Row songwriter. Rock Solid Pressure is now spinning the High Sonic releases.

*KATHLEEN HOLSTEAD: CEO of Venomm Records: This is a fully functional 'in house' Management / Development / Booking Agency. This will be Kathleen's 3rd year on the industry panel. Venomm has signed 3 bands directly from the Showcase. The label deals with all genres of Hard Rock and Metal. The Showcase gave this label the push and the resources to come out of the gate swinging in 2010. Now they have a well known place in the industry

*RAGEN ST. PETER: CEO of THE INK LIFE TOUR: This tour is a huge national event that storms the country every year. This is not a club tour. The Ink Life Tour packs out arena's and convention centers, and features the best national acts in the business. Ragen will be choosing a Showcase band (or two) to take on the road next year. This will be Ragen's first year on the panel.

*SUPER SIDEKICK MANAGEMENT & PRODUCTION: THE HOME FOR INDIE COMICS & ROCK N ROLL: Last year, Super Sidekick was introduced on the industry panel, and they will be returning this year. They are an all inclusive Management Company / Booking Agency / Talent Developers for the Pop Punk / Indie market. And yes, they also handle Indie Comics..

*TOM BROOKS: FULL WAVE SOUND: Tom not only runs one of the best recording facilities on the gulf, but he's also a national booking agent, and a nationally signed recording artist. He has been a mainstay of the Showcase for the past 3 years. He also offers 2 of his favorite bands free studio time at every Showcase

*JOE O' BRIEN: CEO of Rat Pak Records which enjoys distribution from Century Media. Joe has attended 3 Industry Showcases so far. Unfortunately, he will not be in attendance this year, but he will view footage of a few performances that suit the label (Rat Pak has signed 3 acts directly from the Showcase)

*SPOT MAGAZINE: This will be the official magazine covering the 2012 Showcase. They're an all glossy print magazine currently taking over the state of Florida, but that's going to change. National distribution is in the works. They did an amazing job at covering the event last year.

*LOCALIZED MUSIC will be the official radio station covering the event. The Rock Solid Pressure Show is also carried on the Localized Music Network

As of this writing, more panelists are on the negotiating table. Perhaps 'you' feel your label or agency would be an asset to the panel this year. Get in touch ASAP! As longtime attendee's of this event know, many A&R reps from almost every label worth their salt usually come unannounced. Perhaps we'll be seeing you this year?
