Taroland Studios with Jim Taro!  It's small but the quality is great!

http://www.noisefactory.be/ is a very nice, cosy and affordable studio near Namur (Belgium). The owner, Gerald Jans, knows his job and is a nice fellow too. Our latest album was recorded there.

Fadeout recording sessions

We own our own recording equipments. Pro Tools LE 7.1
Drum mics from Shure, sennheizer, rode and so on. TMS and Rode tube mics for vocals, 15 unit rack full of effects. But when we record we do it the old way. Drum and bass plays all in live using only one take and that is the only thing we record in real studio. After that we start to arrange guitars on top of it, the keys and finally the vocals. All these we record ourselves, using our own equipments. Thne we give it forward to somebody for a mix and mastering.

To be honest, I've have only ever worked out of bedrooms or garages. DRAXSEN's latest release (Chronic Pain) was recorded in my dinning room.
With our health conditions we cannot stray to far from home. So when it comes to someones individual tracks! They tend to move in until they have finished.

Well it's blow my own trumpet time - Pagan Studios which I ran from 1985 to 1999 where most of the Legend material to date was originally recorded. We were state of the art digital in the day though it is a sobering thought that the facilities we had (at great expense then) are dwarfed by the capabilities at nearly everybodies fingertips now.

Ah memories of very fond times...

All my music/songs have been produced by the multi talented Nelson Blandchard from Baton Rouge La. Everything you hear have been done though the internet, sending files back and forth from me to Nelson to an artist and so on. The first time I ever met Nelson was when I was invited by him to attend the 51st Grammy Awards in La. in 2009. Nelson has been a member since 1999 of the great band LeRoux. They still perform today.
Nelson is also the owner of a state of the art Pro Tools recording studio in the Baton Rouge area. Nelson is a Grammy-nominated artist specializing in professionally- produced song demos . . Nelson has been producing music for 45 years and has worked with Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn Spears, The Goo Goo Dolls, Neal McCoy, Gov Jimmy Davis, John Fred & the Playboys, Wayne Toups, Kenny Rogers, and Scott Innes (voice of Scooby Doo), Louisiana's LeRoux, Kenny Neal and Tab Benoit, to name a few. His clients have included Warner Bros., Atlantic Records, Telarc Records, Alligator Records, and Wolf Records

Well, I've tried several times to start a discussion but after a few sentences it disappears. I'm not sure if there's a problem here or with my computer.

Great! The best studio I ever worked in was Trax East, South River, NJ, www.traxeast.com. See discussion.
